Training forms an integral part of Vidya Shakti’s education initiative. Several activities were conducted in recent past to benefit ladies, farmers and others to strengthen their skills in various disciplines and to make them economically independent.
Panchananpur, 1st November 2016. Farmers of the adopted village of Panchananpur were trained on Rabi crop cultivation & seasonal vegetable growing, with free distribution of seeds. Around 44 farmers were trained by Mr Japan Sethy.
Panchananpur, 22nd October 2016. Members of Om Shanti SHG were trained on paper bag making for economic empowerment. Around 20 ladies benefited from the training imparted by Mrs Ranjita Dash.
Bileipada, 12th Dec 2016. Sewing training was imparted to around 17 ladies, with successful completion of 8th batch.
