Music has been revered as an eternal medium to connect to the Almighty. The foundation of Adyasha Music School was laid in 1995 with a mission to educate and enlighten the younger generation with the blessing of music. The school setup at Tata Sponge township has been functional for last 20 years and has seen many a prodigy blossom from its garden of young talents. Vidya Shakti took Adyasha under its umbrella on 1st June 2001.
Around 40 students including little children, ladies & gents both from the township and the surrounding villages regularly attend weekly classes with sheer devotion. Students are trained in multiple musical genres like Hindustani Classical, Rabindra Sangeet, folk & modern styles including training on several musical instruments. The school is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and conducts examinations regularly as per schedule.
The success of Adyasha may be credited to its valued mentors, dedicated volunteers, talented students, and above all, the blessings of Guru Sri Sachin Sengupta who has been associated with the school since its inception.
