Bileipada, 14th November 2018. Children’s Day was celebrated with a blissful fancy dress competition for the tiny tots of SPNS. Prizes and Sweets were distributed to the children to cherish the moments of children’s day. The trustees, volunteers, teachers and the staff of VSN spent their valuable time with tiny tots to bless and encourage them.

Bileipada, 6th-8th November 2018. Various competitions like recitation, drawing, song and speech competitions in Shishu Prem nursery school were conducted. The tiny tots presented their performances very beautifully.

13th September 2018, Bileipada. Ganesh Pooja was celebrated in Shishu Prem Nursery School in Vsn training hall. A large number of devotees including the school students, volunteers, staff of VSN, trustees, teachers, parents and many guests attended this auspicious occasion. The Pooja pandal was beautifully decorated by the volunteers with the majestic Ganapathy idol showering his blessings for everyone.

5th September 2018, Bileipada. VSN celebrated Teachers day for SPNS School, Amrapally Dance School, Adyasha Music School, Driving School and Tailoring School with the coordination of staff and educational volunteers. The students showed their respect to the teachers by giving beautiful performances.
5th November 2018, Bileipada. Shishu Prem Nursery School celebrated Pre Diwali with great enthusiasm at the school premises. The little children, teachers & guests took part in the celebration. There was a small cultural program followed by Lakshmi Pooja and sweet distribution. Mrs Rosalie Mishra, Secretary, Mrs Ratna Chattopadhyay, Trustee, Mrs Saroj Manchanda, Education Coordinator (Shishu Prem), all teachers & staff were present during the occasion.

20th September 2018, Bileipada. Vidya Shakti Niyas in collaboration with Tata Sponge organized an orientation cum training program for rural women to promote group business enterprise on industrial sewing. Around 30 women who have recently undertaken sewing training at VSN Sewing School attended the program. The program focused on promising opportunities with proper utilization of their newfound skill sets. The event was organized by 8 volunteers from Tata Sponge and the township along with VSN Staff. Important guests included Mrs Rosalie Mishra, Secretary, Mrs Ratna Chattopadhyay (Trustee), Mr S Nanda, Head CSR (Tata Sponge) & others.

Bileipada, 7-11 September 2018. Vidya Shakti Niyas organized a multi talent competition for various schools situated in the surrounding villages. Around 14 schools participated in the event, with each school represented by 3 students from grades IV till VII and a teacher. The song & speech competitions were held at the VSN Training Hall. Talented students performed with the best of their ability, giving a tough time to the jury members in selecting the winners. Prominent guests include Mrs Rosalie Mishra, Secretary, Mrs Ratna Chattopadhyay, Mrs Nibedita Mishra (both Trustees) including township volunteers and VSN staff. Around 80 attendees were present during the event. The winning students were shortlisted for felicitation during next public award ceremony.

Bileipada, 25th August 2018. Vidya Shakti has been promoting art, culture and extra curricular activities as a part of its education initiative for all round development of students. Eight schools from the region including Saraswati Shishu Mandir Joda, Saraswati Shishu Mandir Bileipada, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya Kaliabeda, Bileipada High School, Maa Santoshi High School Anseikala, BD High School Kandara, Maa Dwarsuni High School Chamakpur & Govt Girls High School, Basudevpur participated in the event. Talented students presented enthralling dance performance in front of a panel of judges. The audience encouraged the dancers with huge applaud. Mrs Rosalie Mishra, Secretary (VSN) attended the program along with Mrs N Nanda, VSN staff & several other volunteers.
