Kalinganagar, 21st December 2018. The students of Sewing Training made a field visit to Navjeevan Sewing Centre, Kalinganagar as a part of their training module. They had first-hand exposure to professional cutting & stitching techniques during their visit. The students learnt about the different ways their newfound skills would economically benefit them in times to come.
Bileipada, 16th January 2019. The annual picnic of Shishu Prem Nursery School was organized at Tata Sponge township picnic spot. Around 160 children attended the event and had a great time playing games, singing, dancing & feasting. Their excitement exceeded their stay in the picnic spots.
Bileipada, 4th February 2019. A one-day Road Safety Training Programme was organized at the VSN Training Hall, for the students of the Driving Training school. Mr TM Dandapat took the 1 hour training session elaborating on road safety rules and importance of driving safely.
Bileipada, 20th November 2018. Students from near by schools came to participate in Fancy Dress Compeition organized at the VSN Training Hall. The students presented their act in front of judges. The winners were rewarded with attractive prizes.
Bileipada, 10th February 2019. Saraswati puja was celebrated with great fevour in the Shishu Prem Nursery School premises. All the teachers, staff, volunteers & parents gathered to take the blessing of Goddess Saraswati.
Basudevpur, 26th November 2018. In its efforts to promote rural education with special focus on village girl students, Vidya Shakti Niyas distributed exam aid literature (test papers) at Basudevpur Govt Girls’ High School. Around 42 girls from class X received complete test papers sets which would help them better prepare for their matriculation exams.
Bileipada, 21st Nov 2018. VSN conducted inter essay writing competition for the students of class ix & x in vsn training hall on 21st November. Nearly 15 students of five schools actively participated and presented a neat presentation.
Bileipada, 20th November 2018. VSN conducted inter Middle school fancy dress competition for the surrounding schools on 20th November. Nearly eight schools of nearly 21 students took part in this competition including RBC.
Bileipada, 17th November 2018. Inter primary school drawing competition was held for the school of the five Panchayats. Nearly twelve schools of 34 students took part in this competition including RBC. The secretary of VSN, volunteers and the staff of vsn actively participated and encouraged the students with lot of prizes and special prized for the students of RBC.
Bileipada, 16th Nov 2018. Vidya Shakti Niyas distributed prizes for the various competitions like Song, Speech and Group Dance competitions. The children of different schools were given a platform and encouraged to express their talents and appreciated with the token of prizes to encourage them further.
