School Boundary Wall Inaugurated

It was a special occasion for Vidya Shakti Niyas when Mrs Ruchi Narendran visited the charitable organization on 17th May 2016. Mrs Narendran was joined by Mrs Deshpande, Mrs Patnaik along with Mrs Rosalie Mishra, Secretary (VSN), several volunteers and officials of CSR department, on a visit to the adopted village of Panchananpur.

Mrs Narendran was pleased to see the festive spirit of the village as they welcomed their special guest with traditional music & dance, in native attire and custom. Mrs Narendran inaugurated the newly constructed boundary wall of Panchananpur UP High School, a center of education for nearby children. She witnessed a rural medical camp nearby, conducted regularly as a part of VSN health initiative for the rural poor. The guests planted banana saplings in a cultivation plot, along with villagers. Vidya Shakti Niyas distributed water filters to the villagers during the occasion. Mrs Narendran also visited a new rice flake machine, installed by Maa Mangala Self Help Group, with assistance from VSN.

Mrs Narendran spent quite some time at the village observing various initiatives by Vidya Shakti Niyas. She appreciated the efforts put in by the volunteers in the journey to make Panchananpur a ‘model village’ in the state.
